Gateway 2000 LLC is the Developer of the Gateway at Leander. This 42 acre development anchored by Lowe’s and Kohl’s began in 2006. The Gateway at Leander was co-developed by the staff at Development 2000 and Jody L. Hageman P.C.

Jerry Reed founded DEVELOPMENT 2000 in 1994. DEVELOPMENT 2000 has developed and constructed numerous projects up to 300,000 square feet. The staff includes agents, brokers, architects, property management, administrators and accounting professionals. The DEVELOPMENT 2000 team has long track record of successful projects. These projects include office, industrial and retail.



Jody Hagemann is both a developer and investor. Hagemann began with Reed as his real estate attorney. She has collaborated on multiple projects with DEVELOPMENT 2000. Hagemann’s long standing experience as a real estate lawyer makes her a very crucial player on the development team.


DEVELOPMENT 2000’s property management department is D2K Properties. D2K Properties manages over 1,000,000 square feet in Texas and has built relationship with over 50 tenants.
